Meaning of Set -UPDATED-
To redefine the meaning of set into a more specific path; I have decided to elaborate on the word of survival. A mirror is an object that; once exposed to another object, produces a set of images in response. Hence, a relationship is established between those objects. In a sense, a mirror reflects an image, therefore creating a set of images from that one instance. Reflection and refraction are the result of different materials of translucent objects. Water and glass are a set of objects that are both reflective and able to distort and displace a reflection. So what we have is a set of images, each created in response to an object’s characteristics. Water by itself is its own set. Humans, plants, animals, sea creatures depend on this medium to survive. So water leads us to survival, distortion and reflectivity. Mirrors are a type of glass which can distort, reflect, and invert the image opposing it. And water and glass cannot create another instance without the first object being present; which in conclusion leads us to survival.
7 words that result can be summed into:
- Glass (mirror, cracks, reflection, refraction)
- Water (displacement, reflection, ripples, and waves)
- Interaction (the scene creates the scene)
- Identical (reflection, copy paste sense, inverted)
- Distortion (creating a different scene from the same existing props, blurred, upside- down)
- Survival (the reliance of one object on the other to exist)
- Unique (every image created creates its own unique characteristics branching from the original)

Interpreting "set"
From this point I have chosen images that themselves are a set and together along with the other images are a set. The sense of survival and need of one for the other to exist is the main point of my set. To relate between nature and architecture and objects, the set is an image of nature, a texture and a map able to be transformed and modified as needed.
A set is a series of objects, things, colors, and moments that would not exist except as a set.
